Thank you to everyone who braved the rain and came out for our Spring Craft Festival. 92.5 XTU was on-site Saturday to give away tickets to their anniversary show and we had a record number of craft vendors set up. It was great to see the Village full of guests again and we are looking forward to a great season.
If you didn’t make it to the Spring Craft Festival, make sure you join us for the Strawberry Festival on June 4th and 5th from 10am to 5pm each day. The Strawberry Festival was a community staple back when our location was known as Dutch Neck Village and we are looking forward to bringing it back. We’ll have Murphy’s Produce Market joining us again with Fresh Strawberries and lots of yummy Strawberry treats. Sweet Spot: Dennis and Gail will perform again on Saturday from 11 -2, with R.G. Evans and Mike Dancik performing on Sunday from 11-1, followed by the Seabrook Minyo Dancers at 1 pm.
We are still working with community groups to sponsor activities for the kids, and as always there will be train rides for all, plus lots of shopping from local craft vendors and our merchants.
We hope to see you for a fun day!
Join us for a fun day out with the family!
When you arrive, turn in your ticket for a wrist band to board the Dragon Express and take a ride to the Easter Bunny where you can visit and take your own photo. After your visit, hop through the village to complete a fun scavenger hunt.
Our merchants and a few vendors will be available for shopping (no charge for shopping), and we’ll have a food vendor on-site if you want to get lunch and have a picnic!
This year, we are excited to host six, 2-day craft festival events. Each event will have over 50 vendors, food trucks, rides, and activities for the kids. We also hope to feature some live music and radio DJ appearances, which will vary per event. As usual, admission is free and parking is $2 per car.
Come out with the family or meet up with your friends for some shopping and stroll through the village for a photo op with each of our dragon statues. Take a ride on the train. Sample some wine. Visit our merchants and support the local businesses and artists who set up as vendors for each event. With a variety of vendors, there’s a little bit of something for everyone at The Shoppes at Dragon Village.
Stay tuned to our Facebook page www.facebook.com/shoppesatdragonvillage and this website for more announcements of specifics for each event.
Vendors and Food Trucks: We are working on getting an online application up this week. If you would like us to message or email you when it’s ready, please email email@example.com or message us on Facebook and we’ll add you to the list. Cost is $45 per day or $80 for 2 days for craft and antique vendors and $150/day for Food Trucks. More details and requirements will be included on the application.
