When we purchased the property in January of 2018, one of our sons, in his excitement that the deal finally went through, set up a Facebook page and we were wowed by the outpouring of interest and excitement that we planned to bring back the village.
Everyone shared memories and stories, expressed their opinions, and got excited that the village was coming back.
But there’s a reason it was closed for so long.
There are reasons no one else bought it.
Time and weather and neglect left their mark.
And although we knew it would be a big, expensive endeavor, none of us really understood the scope of what would be required to open it back up. Let alone restore it to it’s glory AND bring the new and exciting things we are dreaming up.
So we want to thank you for your support and patience. Trust us, no one wants it to be open more than we do. This is a passion project for us. Something we have dreamed about since the original village first closed.
We are working hard behind the scenes to secure tenants, plan events, repair the buildings, take care of landscaping, bring in high speed internet, and get the approvals we need to finally say we’re officially open with regular hours.
Until then, stay in touch by signing up for our newsletter, following us on Facebook, and sharing our posts with your friends. We love your enthusiasm. (and we know you want a restaurant- you’ve made that loud and clear. We hope that in time, we’ll be able to make that happen too.)
